If its good enough for the Fijian rugby team...

Olympic fever is upon us! Like many of you I’m sure, watching the games gives me goosebumps. And it’s not just the constant sport watching that I love. It's the stories behind the athletes – the injuries, the sacrifices, the commitment, the team work. A favourite take home story for me has been the Fijian rugby sevens team taking the gold medal in the final against Great Britain – the nation’s first ever Olympic medal. And the gold medal no less.  A historical moment for the Pacific Island nation of 900,000 people!

So in ode to the Olympic spirit, I’d like to introduce to you POWER UP. A blended original and fan favourite - even the Fijian rugby team enjoyed it! If you've had the chance to test us out at various sporting events throughout Hong Kong, you will attest to this beverage’s deliciousness. It’s fresh, hydrating and loaded with the good stuff. If you are yet to sample this concoction, she is available for purchase for the banking folk at HSBC Pacific Coffee [1 Queen’s Road Central] or if you’re a south-sider, she is a menu regular at Chicken on the Run down at the Pulse – so get down there and give her a try.

Pineapple – The king of tropical fruits, and a trending additional to household decor, the pineapple is not just tasty, but full of vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and C, manganese, copper, potassium, beta-carotene, folic acid and dietary fibers. Indigestion problems? The fiber in pineapple can help declog digestive tracts. Its also great for your skin and promotes a healthy immune system.

Banana – a blended favourite and a great natural energy booster. Available year round, this yellow skinned fruit is great for skin elasticity [antiaging], potassium loaded [good for rehydration] and loaded with fiber [happy bowels].

Mango – A dream for the ladies- hair and skin with thank you for it, its loaded with anti-aging antioxidants, increases your metabolic rate AND contains folic acid – great when needing a boost in your fertility!

Coconut water – I can‘t speak highly enough of coconut water. It's a natural hydrator, its low in calories, its antioxidant rich, it's the best natural hangover over cure and helps get your skin glowing!
