WINTER WARMERS

As we are finally starting to feel the chill here in Hong Kong, I thought it would be appropriate to share some of my favourite winter warming activities that won’t break the bank but will warm up those bones in no time.

Raiz The Bar Authentic Drinking Chocolate – Made from cold pressed cacao, this hot chocolate will give you the perfect creamy taste that is not only delicious but made from certified organic ingredients. No sugar highs here. Enjoy hot, cold or blended!

Chilli Fagara – If you want a fire in your belly, look no further than this traditional Sichuan restaurant in Central Hong Kong. But be warned, this is not for the faint hearted. Spicy spicy spicy!

Hit the hills – Chinese New Year is the perfect time to hike in Hong Kong. With many hikes to choose from, this is an easy way to warm up! The Twins on Hong Kong Island is a short but fiery trail for those not wanting to venture far. For those of you looking for a bit of an adventure outside the city, I recommend Sunset Peak on Lantau, Lions Rock Kowloon side or Tai Long Wan out Sai Kung way.

Cup of Tea – If you are looking for Hong Kong’s best Chai latte or Matcha latte or rose tea, look no further than Teakha. Serving a delicious selection single origin teas sourced from small tea plantations – the teas are made to perfection.

Kung Hei Fat Choy to all of our Hong Kong fans. Stay warm!
